MODULAR WALL SYSTEM

Simpla Lux, 1960’s

Vintage midcentury modern retro wall cabinet, modular wall system / wall unit / wall rack in warm teak wood from Simpla Lux from the 1960s. Simpla-Lux was a Dutch furniture manufacturer of self-assembled furniture in the 1960s and 1970s.

The wall unit stands alone and therefore does not need to be attached to the wall. The system is modular and can be placed in different configurations: as a bookcase, as a writing table, as a room divider.

• Uprights made of full beech
• Beautifully patinated brass handles
• Warm teak veneer
• Modular: can be used in different configurations
• Ideal as a writing table, library cabinet, room divider.
• Comes with 1 extra shelf

Freestanding wall system with

• 2 uprights in full aisle
• 1 writing table in teak veneer with 2 drawers
• 3 bookshelves in teak veneer + 1 extra bookshelf.

Condition is good vintage condition. There are some traces of use from a previous life. These have been lovingly restored and are mainly located at the back of the wall unit and on the extra shelf. See pictures.
